Ho ho ho

Hi,

Today I'm sharing with you a Christmas easel card.
It has been a while since my last easel card and this one turned out very bright and cheerful.

How about that digi stamp? Fun, isn't it?
It's from The stamping chef. I colored it in Photoshop (took me about two hours).
Some of the elements on the digi stamp are in 3D (doens't show well on the pic).
The backgroundpaper I made using a free download from Trimgyms digi stamps and images.
I chanced the colors in Photoshop. The sentiment I made in Word using Candy Cane Font.
It would make a great Christmas card for a child.

Warm Winter Wishes

Hi,

Besides crafting, I spent a lot of spare time searching the world wide web for cute images, digital stamps, printables etc. As well as Google, one of the best places to search is Pinterest but also Etsy and Flickr.
The image on my next card "Winter Sisters" is from Vera Lane Studio on Etsy, so darn cute.

I did the coloring in Photoshop.
Made the sentiment in the same colours. Kept the card very clean and simple.

'twas the night before Christmas ...

Hello and happy Sunday,

I made another Clean and Simple Christmas card with a cute digital stamp, a sweet sentiment and a surprise on the inside.

The digital stamp is from Sweet November at CC Designs. I colored the stamp in Photoshop.
I typed the sentiment in Word and printed it in the cardstock. Added a string of red holographic thread.
On the inside of the card I printed a little mouse (its part of a free download at simply-cards-papercraft.)

Up, Up and Away

Hi,

Today I'm sharing with you two cards I made with this weeks sketch at freshly made sketches.

The paper on this card is from the october card kit from Simon Says Stamp.
The digital stamp is from Bugaboo stamps. Colored in Photoshop.

For this card I used the paper pad "Best Friends" from Poppydesign.
I printed a free word sentiment from Karla Dudley next to the cute owl, added twine and a leaf sequin.

Christmas Rocking Horse

Hi and happy Wednesday,

Last month I was one of the winners at Outlawz challenges . I was allowed to choose 7 digital stamps from Bugaboo.
With one of those stamps, a rocking horse, I made my next Christmas card.

I colored the digital stamp using photoshop and for my inspiration I used this super cute horse from erica catarina.

The strips of paper I made in Photoshop using patterns.

The sketch is from at Catch the bug challenge blog.

Christmas houses cards

Hi,

I love the houses stamps in the Cinnamon Spice kit from Studio calico. The kit is sold out, but there
are also digital stamp brushes for sale and that is just right up my street.
So I purshased the stamp set and started thinking of a way to use them and playing with the brushes and stamps in Photoshop.
I made four cards in the end all with the same Christmas houses but in different ways.
Most color changing was done in Photoshop.

The night sky I made using a gradient background and added stars with PS brushes.
Then I placed the sentiment en houses on that background.

More traditional colors. This time I changed the color of the sentiment in Word.

CAS with little lights.

Which one do you like best?

Subway art Christmas

Hi .. happy wednesday,

I'm not really a big fan of subway art but sometimes I see a beautiful example like the one I used on my next Christmas card.

The subway art is a FREE PRINTABLE from Jen Gallacher, you can find it here.
It's a bright and cheerful card made of scrap pieces of Christmas paper from the previous years.
Just added ribbon, enamel dots and buttons.
For the sketch I used this weeks sketch at Incy wincy designs.

Happy Thanksgiving

Hi,

We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in the Netherlands, but I do understand the meaning and the tradition of it.
There are many thanksgiving theme challenges around at the moment and when I saw the digital image that I used
on my card I decided to make a Thanksgiving card.

It is a clean and simple card, featuring one of the aspects of thanksgiving: eating a turkey.

Added a better picture.
The digital image is a freebie from Dearie dolls digi stamps. I colored the funny chef in Photoshop.
Made the sentiment in Word using the font Grandma's Garden in harvest colors.
Added a string of brown raffia.

Home is where the heart lies

Hi,

Unlike my two cards from my earlier blogpost my next card turned out better than I had in mind.
I do still struggle to make a clean and simple card though. For this card I was inspired by the inspiration sheet in the Simon Says Stamp November Card Kit.

The home with heart metal paper clip is from the Simon says stamp november card kit.
The word art is from Word art world.

Two cards

Hello .... happy Sunday,

I have made two cards but both turned out not quite the way I wanted.
The first card is a Chrismas card. I used the november sketch at Reverse confetti.

The whole card is made using the Echo park collection Holly Jolly.
This is the sketch from Reverse Confetti:

Entering this card in the november challenge at Reverse confetti.

My second card is a flower power themed card using a digital stamp from Some Odd girl.
I colored the digital in Photoshop.

The paper and sentiments are part of a a FREEBIE kit at LJS digital designs.
(And Austin Powers pops up into my head ;))

For the sketch I used sketch 284 at Sketch Saturday (rotated it).

Speech Bubbles

Hello, happy friday

This month the theme at Some odd girl is SPEECH BUBBLES!
In the october card kit from Simon Says stamp there is some cute speech bubble paper, so I made a card using that paper.

Like last month's challenge at SOG I used Heartsy Mae again. I colored her in photoshop.
The white dots in her eyes just adds that little extra. I colored the wooden embelishment orange.

Thanks for stopping by, LOVE all your comments!!

Retro Christmas

Hi and Happy Sunday,

I love the fifties and sixties, great rock 'n roll music, great styles.
I was born in 1969, but sometimes I wish I was a young adult in the late fifties.
The 50's and 60's seem like great decades in my eyes.

The cards I'm sharing with you today have a retro style.
The image on both card I bought here on Etsy. It is a digital image from an old Christmas card.
I loved it right away.

I made two cards with it, both in a retro style but very different.

For both card I used the same sketch from Yns challenge blog.

On the first card I used full image and the background paper is from a local store.

The other card I used the image with white background and the paper is free digital paper I found on the internet.

Two totally different cards, one more traditional, but with the same image and in a retro style.

I would like to enter these card in the following challenges:
