Hi,

Today I  made a word shaped card using a template from The cutting cafe.

The single letters I cut using this colorscheme as inspiration.
It is this weeks color inspiration challenge at Love to create.







The Manga girl is a digital stamp from Scrappers delights. Colored the digital in Photoshop.
Just added a few paper and felt flowers.

Just Keep Swimming

Hello and happy Sunday,

Making a CAS card is not something I do easily. It is hard for me to come up with an idea and make the card look simple.
Today I gave it another try and made a card using the inspiration photo at The Alley Way Stamps.

I was mainly inspired by the colors on the photo. I love the color combo yellow, grey and blue-grey. Also the twine strings I wanted to use in my design.

The image and sentiment are freebies from The Alley Way Stamps.

I colored the digital image in Photoshop. The sketch is a former one from Cards in envy.

I embossed the black banner using my cuttlebug. The sentiment I made using Word.

I collect memories

Hi,

On this very hot day here in the Netherlands I would like to share with you a shaped card I made the other day. It is a suitcase shaped card.

I didn't use a template, just draw the shape on cardstock.
The digital stamp is from CC designs called Swiss Pixie Abigail. I colored her in photoshop.
For the decoration of the suitcase I used free journal cards and other free journaling printables.
(I'm collecting those for my travel notebook that I'm going to make during our vacation in Ireland).

CC Designs Challenge for this month is "summer dreaming". I think traveling to unknown countries and collecting memories is a summer dream.

Circle card

Hi,

It is a very warm Sunday here in the Netherlands, around 30 degrees Celsius (100 F) and in
the next two days its gonna be even warmer. Best thing to do is to stay inside or in the water.
Today I stayed inside and made a circle card with in yellow theme.

The digital stamp is from Hannah Boyd at Lori Boyd shop called CeCe. I colored the stamp in Photoshop.
The paper is digital from this Etsy Shop. I punched out the circles with my Cuttlebug.

Girls just wanna have fun

Hi and welcome to my little corner of blogland,

I have always loved the Uptown girls stamps from stamping Bella and recently I purchased "uptown girls night out".
I digged up my Sakura waterbrush, haven't used it for a long time because I do most of my coloring in Photoshop. It was great fun to be coloring on aquarelle paper again.

Fancy fold card

I made a fancy fold card for the Dream Valley Challenge  #61.
The template for this card I found on Bente Arstad blog.

The paper is from Basic Grey Konnichiwa.  The bird stamp is a part of a Birdie Brown free digital stamp.

Teddybear 2

I made another baby card using the DCWV paper nana's nursery.
Just as my previous baby card I used a font as the main image.
The cute bear in the wagon is a font called "teddybears2".

Canisters Tag

Hi,

I have a cute digital stamp from Meljens with three canisters on it. I love that image.
I colored the stamp in Photoshop in vintage colors.

Yumi and Fumi 1st anniversary blog hop

Yumi and Fumi are celebrating there 1st year anniversary in the stamping world today! Whooo hooo! Congratulations ladies!

One year ago Renate and Leanne had the first blog post introducing there Yumi and Fumi hand made stamps. I discovered them a few months later and they made me smile right away.

I love the Yumi and Fumi images and I was very honored when they asked me to be part of the 1ste year blog hop.

I made a card using the photo inspiration - lovely bright colors.

The lovely paper is from Crate paper called pretty party.
I made the vintage flowers myself and also the sentiment.
It is made from polymer clay and a rubber stamp.

Hope you like this card. I think it turned out pretty cute.

Hi and happy Wednesday,

Birdie Brown has some new freebies and challenge. This month she has free dolphin stamps and matching sentiment, here is a link.

I wanted to make the card somewhat different than the usual blue waves and sea.
After some time I found a Japanese wave pattern on Deviant art to use in Photoshop.
I also came across these pretty colors and my next card was there.

I colored the wave pattern in PS using these colors.

One of the advantages of digital stamps is that you can transform and flip the image.
That is what I did with the dolphin to face them opposite from each other. Colored the dolphins in Photoshop using gradients and placed the sentiment in the middle.

Only added some twine and a felt starfish.
